Eberhard Kölsch

I was deeply saddened to learn of Eberhard’s untimely death and send my deepest condolences to family and friends.  I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Eberhard as my professional colleague and as a friend.  His assignment to the German Embassy in Washington began a long friendship that was reconnected here in Bonn at the Internationale Club La Redoute, where he organized lively foreign policy events in Bad-Godesburg and made the club a key home for friends to meet.  Eberhard will be sorely missed.
